George Gamez, Ph.D. J.D. is a California licensed psychologist. As a Qualified Medical Examiner in the workers’ compensation system, he conducts evaluations of injured workers.
He also loves to speak on the subject of Creativity and is the author of Creativity: How to Catch Lightning in a Bottle. He has helped many individuals enhance their creativity in areas such as music, business, and science.
He has an extensive history as a psychologist, having taught at the University of California Santa Cruz, California State University, Los Angeles and other institutions of higher learning. He also worked for the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health and was the director of the La Puente Mental Health clinic. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
George Gamez attended Abraham Lincoln University, studied law and passed the California bar exam in 2009. In 2024, he became inactive as an attorney and is no longer practicing law. As such, he is not representing any clients. Before becoming inactive, however, he practiced in the areas of immigration law, family law and entertainment law.
In addition, George is an accomplished musician and has extensive experience as an artist, composer, and performer. He has recorded several Albums and performed extensively throughout the USA. George's musical compositions have been recorded numerous times. "Bridges of Love" (which George co-wrote), was recorded by Jose Feliciano.
